Sharing your learning journey publicly might feel intimidating at first, but it’s one of the most powerful ways to accelerate growth.
Anne-Laure Le Cunff, in her book Tiny Experiments, explains how making your goals public creates a sense of accountability that helps you stay committed. But beyond that, receiving real-time feedback allows you to iterate and improve constantly. Documenting your progress is key to understanding which insights truly move the needle in the direction you want to explore.
Learning in public helps you find a community willing to grow with you. Your shared journey sparks valuable input, helps connect ideas that would have been difficult to see in isolation, and ultimately fuels creativity.
It also opens the door to unexpected opportunities: when you share your challenges and doubts, you often receive support from people on the same learning journey, who can introduce you to resources that take your knowledge further, faster.
Of course, it’s not always easy. One of the biggest blockers to learning in public is fear—the fear of not knowing enough, of being judged, or of harming your reputation. This happens because our brains are wired to react to external feedback, which can shape our behavior in ways we don’t always control.
Here are three ways to navigate this challenge:
✅ Focus on your internal metrics of success—don’t let external validation dictate your learning priorities.
✅ Limit the time you spend monitoring reactions—social feedback should inform, not control, your journey.
✅ Be comfortable saying: “Yeah, I got it wrong. Let’s grow together!”
I appreciate you being part of this learning journey. Sharing these insights publicly is my way of helping others achieve their goals while also keeping myself accountable to continuous learning.
Let’s keep growing together.
